Apply For Block/District/State Level Written Quiz Competition (Class 7th-10th) on Energy Conservation (26/11/2017)

Center of Odisha's State of Environment (ENVIS), Department of Forest & Environment Department, Odisha inviting 7th to 10th Standard students of Odisha to participate in Block/District/State Level Written Quiz Competition on Energy Conservation which will held on 26th November, 2017 at Block Level, 3rd December, 2017 at District Level and 13th December, 2017 at State Level. The following is details and prize list of the competition. 

BLOCK LEVEL WRITTEN QUIZ COMPETITION

• Students of Class 7th to 10th of all schools can participate in the Block level Written Quiz Competition which is to be held on 26th November, 2017 in their respective Block Examination Centers. 
• The quiz test shall be of 1 hour duration. 
• Students have to bring their own writing materials for the competition. 
• The quiz shall comprise of objective type multiple choice questions. 
• Students of Municipality area can participate In their concerned Block Centers.
• Certificates along with cash award shall be given to best 3 students.
• No cost shall be paid to the participants for participating in the Block level quiz competition.
• The schools/students are requested to visit the websites below for details regarding the venue and timing of the competition.
• Students are requested also to participate in a rally program to be organised on 14.12.2017 in their respective blocks for spreading E the message of Energy Conservation.

DISTRICT LEVEL WRITTEN QUIZ COMPETITION

• Only 3 winners from each Block level competition will participate in District Level written Quiz competition which Is to be held on 3rd December, 2017 in their respective District Examination Centers.
• The quiz test shall be of 1 hour duration. Students are requested to get their own writing materials for the competition. 
• The quiz shall comprise of objective type multiple choice questions.
• Best 3 participants will be selected to participate In the state level competition to be held on 13th December, 2017 in Bhubaneswar.
• No cost shall be paid to the participants for participating in the District Level quiz competition.
• The schools/students are requested to visit the websites below for details regarding the venue and timing of the district level competitions.
• Students are also requested to participate In a rally program to be held in District headquarter for spreading the message of Energy Conservation.

STATE LEVEL WRITTEN QUIZ COMPETITION

• Only 3 winners from each district level competition will be invited to the State level Written Quiz competition State level Written Quiz competition will be held at Bhubaneswar on 13th December, 2017 at 2.00 P.M. The quiz test shall be of 1 hour duration.
• Each participating student will be paid TA as per Govt. permissible rate and a participation certificate. 
• Sleeper class rail-fare/ state roadways bus fare for participating student and one escort teacher/parent will also be reimbursed on the day of competition.
• Prizes will be given on the 14.12.2017 In the State level Energy Conservation Day celebration In Bhubaneswar.
• All selected participants of district are also requested to participate in the rally program to be held on 14th December, 2017 in Bhubaneswar.
• Platinum, Gold and Silver prizes shall be given to selected students.
