NEST 2016: Complete Schedule, Online Application Form for M.Sc Admission into NISER

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST)-2016 will be held on May 28 next year across the country. NEST 2016 Online Application Form for M.Sc Admission into NISER & UM-DAE CBS has been published.

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for -- admission to the 5 year Integrated M.Sc programme in Basic Science (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics,and Physics) at National Institute of Science & technology (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai- Department of -- Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS ), Mumbai. NEST 2016 -- Examination will be held all over India on 28th May 2016. Willing students can apply online from 4th January 2016 to 04th May 2016.

The entrance test at 52 major towns and cities all over India. The examination will be conducted on May 28 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.

The application process will begin from January 4, 2016 to March 4, 2016. Candidates will be able to apply online at the official website - www.nestexam.in.

Scholarship : All students who will get admission into NISER & UM-DAE CBS will get a scholarship amount Rs 60,00/- per year and Rs 20,00/- per year for summer/winter internship.

Age Limit : Candidates must born on or after July 15, 1995. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST/ Physically Disabled (PD) candidates.

Qualification : Student must have passed +2 Science from any govt. recognized university or institute with atleast 60% mark For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and for Persons with Disability (PD), the minimum requirement is 55%. Student must have passed +2 in 2013, 2014 or 2015 appearing.

Application Fee : Application fee for the NEST 2016 examination is as follows.

• Male (GE & OBC)= Rs 700/-
• Male (SC & ST ) = Rs 350/-
• Female (All)=Rs 350/-
• PH = Rs 350/-

How To Apply : Willing candidates can apply via online mode oly by visiting the website www.nestexam.in . Candidates can pay the fee via online mode or offline mode by DD. If paying the fee through the offline mode, then send the DD to the below mentioned address.
